Stunning Dioptase specimen from the 2023 Tucson Gem Show! Each specimen has brilliant teal color, some have gems that seem to glow from within in certain lights! These are high quality specimen and come with their own acrylic stand to display them on. Some pieces have blue inclusions, this is Shattuckite, another more uncommon crystal.
Dioptase is a fragile, somewhat more uncommon crystal that is only mined in a handful of localities. These are sourced specifically from the Congo. Its vibrant color lends it to be mistaken for Emerald, however its softness makes it near impossible to carve into jewelry. Its beauty is to be found in its raw gem formations and incredible color.
